PaidExtension License

1. Grant

Upon purchase, House of Arqam Ventures LLC ("Licensor") grants the purchasing individual or organization (the "Licensee") a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, copy and modify the PaidExtension source code (the "Kit") to build an unlimited number of browser extensions, websites and services ("End Products"), and to distribute those End Products, including commercially, in compiled or minified form.

2. Tiers and team use

The tier purchased sets how many people may use the Kit's files ("Developers"):

Solo — one named Developer: the purchasing individual, or one named person within the purchasing organization.
Team — up to five Developers who are employees or contractors of the Licensee, at one company.
Agency — an unlimited number of Developers who are employees or contractors of the Licensee, at one company. End Products may be built for and handed over to the Licensee's clients, who receive them as End Products, not as a copy of the Kit.

Contractors working on the Licensee's End Products may use the Licensee's copy for that work only. Repository access is granted to the GitHub account connected at checkout; the Licensee is responsible for keeping the Kit within the Developer count of their tier. Additional Developers require a higher tier.

3. Restrictions

The Licensee may not:

sell, sublicense, publish, share or otherwise redistribute the Kit or a substantial portion of its source code, whether modified or not, other than to Developers permitted by section 2 or as embedded in an End Product;
use the Kit to create a product whose primary purpose is to compete with the Kit (a starter kit, boilerplate, template or generator for paid browser extensions);
remove or alter this license notice from the Kit's source.

4. Updates

The license includes all updates to the Kit that Licensor publishes.

5. Third-party components

Files under node_modules/ and any file that carries its own license header are governed by their own licenses.

6. No warranty

THE KIT IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE KIT OR ITS USE. Licensor's total liability is limited to the amount paid for the license.

7. Termination

This license terminates automatically if the Licensee breaches section 3. End Products already distributed are unaffected.
